Jacks And Jokers

Shaunmatthewcpoetry

I'm Jack Burton and Jack Bauer combined
They just the Jack of all trades
Who's awake and who's blind?
Seek out the spiritual or be left behind
I listen to beats and write my own rhymes
Not trying to hear your pantomimes
Are you wearing pink pants or a dress?
Mainstream male MC's look a fucking mess
Hit the road joker and don't you come back no more
At those all white parties
No wonder your ass is sore
Controlled by record labels
A clowning whore
Your rap catalogue is worth jack shit
Calling yourself a God?
I think this pussy has lost it

Tell us what you really think! I know you don't mean to be demeaning, but that p-word is a bit of a jar... you can do better! It's not even that good of an insult! (-:

I never usually use it and the one time I do someone calls me out on it, haha!

I love you man! I knew I could say something cause you are a thoughtful fellow. And I am damn imperfect!! PS I love the first few lines of this, and the title rocks... it is OK if an old guy says "rocks"?

Haha it's all good, I guess it's my kinda diss poem to these new rappers who are sellouts and I miss the old school. Cheers, all good say what you feel, nobody should stop you for expressing yourself.

I'm not one to judge usually... you know when straights call some raps misogynistic, I often want to remind them that sometimes the poet is playing a part!

Yes there is a lot of misogynistic rap but a lot of good stuff that is really lyrical too, I don't listen to rappers who say bitch every 5 seconds anymore.
