visionary

Teddy.15

I read with fear

Yet I vision such deep beauty

a contrast sometimes

Invisible to the eyes and heart

With a rumbling of sarcasm

I do not fear life itself

I simply fear the lines of each page

Yet to come.

As the saying goes, one page at a time! A lovely little ponder.

BTW, I love stopping by the list of your poem titles on your home page on MPS... it changes every few days, and reads like a poem itself. My little secret!

Wow I'm truly honoured I did just look, although I do not see it for myself it's truly wonderful to know. Thank you once again, someone once said to me they hate when people say nice things behind their back and so do I. I truly am grateful that you have come by to tell me this lovely information about my work. 💖 I'm truly blown away by your kindness.

You'll fear the lines of my pages - cos I'll be singing 'em! lol. That's scary.

A wonderful take on the reading experience. I understood fully what you meant by "the lines of each page yet to come." One can read with this fear and sometimes with happy expectations. Loved this poem. - Phil A.

As I read I notice that I have expectations as to the outcome of each work and tension builds as it appears that I was wrong and the unexpected is about to occur, and so is life. A wonderful expression of this in so few words again.
