I read with fear
Yet I vision such deep beauty
a contrast sometimes
Invisible to the eyes and heart
With a rumbling of sarcasm
I do not fear life itself
I simply fear the lines of each page
Yet to come.

As the saying goes, one page at a time! A lovely little ponder.
Yes one page at a time. Thank you dear jarcner54 for coming by to leave such wisdom. 💖
BTW, I love stopping by the list of your poem titles on your home page on MPS... it changes every few days, and reads like a poem itself. My little secret!

You'll fear the lines of my pages - cos I'll be singing 'em! lol. That's scary.

Thank you dear poetess, 💖 so glad you relate. 💖
A wonderful take on the reading experience. I understood fully what you meant by "the lines of each page yet to come." One can read with this fear and sometimes with happy expectations. Loved this poem. - Phil A.
Thank you so much dear Phil, always wonderful to know you enjoy my scribbles 💖
As I read I notice that I have expectations as to the outcome of each work and tension builds as it appears that I was wrong and the unexpected is about to occur, and so is life. A wonderful expression of this in so few words again.
Thank you my dear sorrenbarret always such a pleasure for me to know, you enjoy my scribbles. 🌹
