Tune: Hereford
('O thou who camest from above')
Psalm 112 v.4-7
**********
To upright there arises light
In the darkness, to give them sight
They are gracious, compassionate
And righteous, hearts on the Lord set
Good people show favour, and lend
Thye do unto the needy tend
They guide their life-matters wisely
With discretion, justice, so be
Surely they shall not be moved e'er
But solid standing they do share
They the righteous shall ever be
In e'erlasting remembrance, see
They shall not fear evil tidings
What troubles or strifes that life brings
Their hearts are fixed and steadfastly
They trust in the Lord completely
