NATURE

Magnus

Oh! Mother nature & your shadows of green

I’ve been perplexed by your eternal beauty, It’s almost as if it’s a dream

I was resting by your hedges when I heard the dulcet melody

It was right before noon when the birds were tweeting in pure glee.

That’s when right in my heart I witnessed, a feeling of delight.

When the windows battered and the wind fluttered right through my window

That’s when I knew how massive the storm grew.

And, Oh!

So much havoc you’ve wrecked

How often without even a break?

There is surely not an end to your wisdom,

But, do put an end to your unattended queendom.

I realize you are deeply hurt,

By the human acts you’ve been raged

But let good prevail for only,

The evil must be caged.
