CASTINGTON HMP

nephilim56

I left my heart upon a table
Beside a tray and empty cups
Sugar wrappers and sweet papers
Firm handshakes and tender hugs.

Yes yesterday I visited Castington
HMP / YOI
My tears hidden in a heartbeat
Leaving my son behind.

I left my soul within a moment
Inside a prisons secure walls
So many young but childless faces
Looking..free of hope.
