A Slow And Painful Death

Yael

stability is for the delusional kind

you reassured me you’d change that

silly little thing I was, the delusional kind

told myself I’d tear it all down

be vulnerable, you made it quite inevitable

and yet stupidity is all you left me with

how can lips touch the way ours did

and not mean a single fucking thing?

now I’ll be the first to admit

you left me a bitter man, but what can I do?

trust me, I’ve tried to forgive but bloodshed tears are easier wiped than forgotten

karma is quite beautiful, you can kneel and pray for salvation but you and I both know that you’ll die from heart driven starvation
