The Hyacinth.

Dhru

Laid there the scar,

Just like a Hyacinth does in a field of roses.

Dragged and dragged,

But never appears to heal.

Slowly but surely,

The Hyacinth takes over the graceful rouge.

The more distinguishable it becomes,

The more theatrical the field looks.

When tried to put out of sight,

It seizes the inside.

  • Comment from author about the poem: Hey everyone, Here is my first-ever publishing. This poem holds a special spot out of everything that I've written, As it reflects the feeling, the soulful experience of being put out of sight, the experience of being self-suppressed. It thoughtfully expresses the journey of a scar(Hyacinth, The flower of sorrow) over a peaceful, graceful and elegant spirit(Roses). The more the scar expresses itself, the more exaggerated the spirit appears to be. When it is tried to be hidden, it takes over the inside and slowly demolishes everything loved.
