This Life And Next One

Serhat Doğan

Summer passing by
Birds are sing their songs
I am sitting on my bed
Taking a deep breath
Last night in my dream
I talked to you
It was real
But now I realize
Dreams float through my eyes
I am just a man
With faded heart and lung
I am just a man
Waiting for silent wicked death
Death is only friend I see
Only one to trust
This life was not enough
I hope there will be another
Without fear
I will live what I deserve
Maybe in heaven maybe in hell...

A poem of what we all feel. Doubt, despite pain and misery we wish for more but hopefully without the pain. Nicely done.
