Lord, Jesus~
When the waters are rough and I’m lost at sea…calm the waves and my fears, and be there with me.
When I’m drifting off course and I’m so terrified…in uncharted waters, be my steady guide.
At the helm, be the Captain of my little boat…and no matter the obstacles, I’ll stay afloat.
Through rainstorms and wind, even lightning and thunder…I’ll weather them all, and I’ll never go under.
My faith is in You, now and forevermore…and I’ll trust You to steer me back gently to shore.
You’re my mast and my rudder, my anchor and keel…and I’ll always dock safely with You at the wheel!
My Savior, my brother, my captain, my friend…Sail beside me, and guide me right up till the end!

The flow and rhyme are pure joy, while the message within this poem is wonderfully clear. Very well written. I have a sea reference as well on the same subject and will have to post it soon. Lovely!
Thanks, Michael…you are too kind!

So beautiful Beth!!
You also seem to have a way with words and a strong love for our FATHER
Thank you, B…yes, I would be nothing without my faith, which is everything to me. So glad we are not only sisters in Christ, but poetry friends as well 🙏🏼
