my grandma died today

sarra

my grandma died today

the trees are still swaying

i still feel the breeze on the back of my neck

my dad still smiles

people still roam the streets

talking, reading, singing, driving

people say when someone close to you dies it feels like the world stops moving

am i a bad person because

the clouds are still unhurried

and i still feel the sun on my skin

my house still stands

my room just how i left it

the water still flows down the river of my hometown

am i a bad person

because i kept walking?

Absolutely not, you are not a bad person,
It shows just how strong u are to have the strength to keeping moving forward and pressing on,
There will be a time when it sets in and you will feel broken, but you need to let yourself grieve in order to begin healing!

Stay strong and remember that because she died, she still lives on in your heart
I'm so sorry about your grandma,

        Sarra~
My deepest condolences on the loss of your grandmother! As a grandmother myself, I would want my grandchildren to keep on walking and enjoying life after I’m gone! You are not a bad person at all. Keep living your life as fully as possible. That’s how you can best honor your grandmother!
        Love,
        ~Beth
