Truth

SHELLY

Truth be told.......

Is it ever the truth?

I don't think so in this world

Most times you're like a sleuth

The embellishments are amazing

The reasons quite outrageous

What are you really gaining

Telling lies so humongous

It's as if they dream of it

And then come up with a plot

Then the come to you and sit

Spewing it non stop

When caught they play the victim

Not wanting to be accountable

It's like a sickness within them

But eventually, all lies are payable
