MODERN CANNIBALISM

D.A.D.

Cannibalism a metaphor to stark.

Inhumane and violent act.

Like devouring hearts in and out.

Gladdened with a feast in their mouth.

Lashins' gobs of rhetoric.

Frivolous and prudent,

As master's beast,

Agnostic and cynical, their minds.

In this world, so chromatic and biased.

They gauged our organs,

Leaving us surprised.

Tears had dropped,

Heartaches they've cropped.

Deceived, in their political game.

We're more than their pawns.

We'll rise as a new dawn spawns.
