Invisible
as if I’m in the background
like a colour on the wall that’s wandering how to get seen
wandering how to be talked to
seen so much as if like that yellow sun standing strong
blue sky singing loudly
they are just there seen and visible
and others speak to their sensitive space
sometimes feels as if sometimes I’m that blue sky
who wishes to talk and feel confident
feeling like a mouse who wishes to sometimes be like that bird
brave in her wings
connecting comfortably with ease
because I can
and I sometimes feel blue
voice staying quiet within me
feeling silent in the background
without many words
quiet standing still
feeling I’m not connecting to the grass and the world around me
sometimes I just feel like a colour who wishes to feel I can speak and feel visible

- Comment from author about the poem: Iβve had this feeling many times in the past that feeling of feeling shy awkward or invisible and not knowing how to talk to people .. sometimes it happens again that I donβt know what to say and I donβt feel a part of I feel on the outside .. but not always .

I always hear you and I always see you dearest Rose, if I may be so bold to say this is your best poem I have ever read, what a wondering we can all reflect on this subject and all I can say is that you have written a beauty today. πππππ
This is beautiful! I love how you describe colors! That feeling creeps in sometimes. But we SEE you!! You stand out!!! π πΉ πΈ
We can reassure ourselves that we're not ALWAYS like that. even if we are, there's various help, I'm sure.
Meanwhile - oops, just saw your poem. It was almost invisible. Do shut up Orchi. lol.
This blending is so well identified in this write. We all, or at least I, feel this at times, like I'm looked right past, of no value. But, know this, you have value and you are seen. When writes come from the soul, as this one is, no words will do it justice other than to say it touched me.
