Forgotten

Tigerose31

Like a breathe in the wind,

Like a scream in silence,

Like eyes that have dimmed,

Like someone who is reaching out to god,

When they're faced,

With all the broken odds,

Did they even care?

Would I ask?  Would I dare?

What did I do wrong?

Did they have something to gain?

I'm in pain.

  • Comment from author about the poem: I wrote this poem in the midst of being forgotten by people I'd considered to be my closest friends. Never let anyone make you feel like you have to question your worth just to be around them. You are worth more than any person or group of people can define you as. The people that make you lay awake at night questioning if you are good enough, don't deserve you.

    forget your sorrows,
    someone loves you,
    from the planet
    of the little prince....

    So very true,
I always say it's their loss not mine, we need to move on and let these people go on without us be abuse you're right. They're not worth it, great piece
