Sever

2781

The borrower is servant to the lender,

An ancient Proverb told.

West in debt over their head,

Others turn to gold.

Don't be surprised, nothing's free.

Power struggles, people bleed.

If power is used to exploit for gain,

The end result: you feel the pain.

Evil: hypocrisy in the tongue,

Into the trap that they have sprung.

Tangled up in the spin,

I laugh,

Confidence, in their sin.

    the true horror
    is in comprehending how long
    its been in the planning
    way back, from when
they decided to lie about zeros in
    a billion digits...
yeah, now wage a war on that
    in one lifetime...
(I so relate with your rage, dear Poet)

Sad thing is, there's nothing new under the sun. We rise to fall. Hopefully one day we will learn the lesson.
      Hang in there!
