In the race to survive
To make millions and thrive
Like ants, we do scurry
Always in a hurry
There is no time for family
Though time, we find, for friends
There’s time to join the rat race
And follow the latest trends
What good will it do
If tomorrow you will rue
The time that flew so fast
That present turned to past
Value the people you love
Show them that you care
Ask them what they need
Ask them how they fare
Your family is the root
Of which you are the fruit
So never leave the hand
That raised you in this land
