When all of the busy streets halt
The classes finally end
The shifts at work are no more
The sisters grown up
The mom no longer yells
The rain stands still in its place
Stress, fear, exhaustion, academics, money
No longer exist anymore
The people in the crosswalk no longer move
We walk forward in confusion
Catching each-other in a gaze as if we had been searching for something for years and had finally found it
A single bag drops to the floor
The umbrella follows
The world fades
Wanting nothing more then to embrace you and fall in love all over again
