Amends, anyone?

gongmu

Crashing waves

Receding light

Life moves on ever tomorrow

Someone says justice is what love is in public

If that's the case, love is wanting here

From Palestinians' rights

Rohingya refugees

Sudan fighting

Syria crisis

to Ukraine war

Where is the love from my fellow earthlings?

If tomorrow light hits, with Him in tow

What will Him say to us all?

We are all selfish, violent creations?

So off to hell, Him all dump, to cleanse ourselves

of our uncouth lust for selfishness

If there is a competent lawyer in humanity's midst

I hope he is ready for Him's verdict

Life moves on ever tomorrow

Maybe another day will Him arrive

One more day to make amends...?
