Beg to differ, Rohingya—the forgotten People

gongmu

In big, black fonts it reads

Rohingya—the Forgotten People

I stared at the screen for a good 15s

How apt the Muslim Relief fund put it

Not on CNN, neither the New York Times

This small minority group suffer in silence

Under a junta whose santanic ways are not only unchecked

But left alone as the world carries on with the eternal growth in gdp...

There is this Roland-Garros, Grand Prix-es, High-speed rail, Disney World, smartphones

All these they call it civilization, leisures and entertainment

Come off it!!

People are dying from helicopters' machine-gunning!!!, rapes in the hills

, arson of human bodies!!!! and massive, massive exiles from their land!!

We are in the Information age, for Christ sake!!

What are you using your wifi for?? Please don't say is instagram...

The audacity to shoot helpless from helicopters in the 21st century speak of

All humanities' callous disregard to your fellow men/women

Whom tramped a lesser road, a sadder road, a more precarious journey

Out in the billions and countless stars in this infinite universe

It is none a coincidence that today we breathe and live together, on this blue dot

Dont leave a bad taste for this rendezvous

For I am certain heaven is a much smaller place than 8billion
