In a world where voices clamor,
A cry for justice takes the stand,
Equality's a gleaming armor,
Worn by those who understand.
But definitions twist and vary,
A word's intent, a struggle lost,
What once was clear, now seems contrary,
A line so thin and easily crossed.
For some, it's privilege disguised as right,
A special treatment, veiled in fairness,
A battle fought without true sight,
A hollow victory, breeding weariness.
But those who seek the true balance,
Warriors for respect and grace,
Refuse the facade, reject the challenge,
Of empty gestures and hollow embrace.
We see a world where all are equal,
No preference, just respect and trust,
A place where love is the true sequel,
To a fight that's fair and right and just.
Our vision shines, a beacon gleaming,
Guiding us to what could be,
A future where we're all redeeming,
The promise of true equality.
In our hearts, no special measures,
Just the dignity that each deserves,
A world that holds no hidden treasures,
But a unity that all observes.
May our voices be loud and steadfast,
In a world that's learning still,
Our wisdom found and ever broadcast,
A guiding light on equality's hill.
