The Caribbean's Sporting Soul

Lando Rodese

In the Caribbean's heart, where cultures collide, Sports are the rhythm, the Caribbean's pride, With every stride on the cricket pitch, Or sprint down the track, we find our niche.

The social fabric weaves tight through sports, Uniting diverse communities and cohorts, From dominoes in the shade to soccer on the sand, Together we play, hand in hand.

In the game of life, lessons we gain, Perseverance, discipline, amidst sun and rain, Sports mold character, make friendships bloom, In the Caribbean's embrace, we find room.

So whether it's cricket, netball, or basketball, In the Caribbean, sports stand tall, Fostering bonds, where everyone's a part, In the Caribbean's sporting soul, we find our heart.
