The Death of Great Music

Teddy.15

I often sit and wonder

if the circumstances of death

of

John Lennon

were any worse or less so

than that of

Bob Marley

or

Freddy Mercury?

Or are we the true victims?

Tragedies....only way to not let ourselves become victims of it, is by keeping their music alive! 💖💖💖

        • Teddy.15

Yes agreed dearest Liz, but I cannot help but think of the music they didn't get to make and in such ways they met their fate. ❤️ thank you dear Liz. ❤️

True! Glad we at least got a glimpse! 💖

I often wonder the same....as the daughter in law of a recording artist I think he went to soon....same with all the above mentioned artists....enough to make you cry when you think about all the music we missed out on.....Christina

They are all most all gone now all the greats from our lifetime, they must be making music somewhere though. ❤️ thank you dear Christina

I often wonder if they were all to live longer along with Janis Joplin, Mozart, Jimi Hendrix and many other greats what would music be like today? A provocative and most interesting thought. Nicely done Teddy.

Exactly but I always think about the way they died all tragedies and there are so very many gone. Thank you dearest sorenbarret always humbled by your beautiful thoughts. ❤️

While their families remain the victims, we as appreciators of the music only lose potential songs, but we carry forward their library of life. Well penned!

Dear Michael I mean we are the victims because they cannot play for us anymore, of course their families and indeed themselves are the victims. I would have loved to see more from these three most talented artists in my lifetime. Thank you Sir. ❤️

We all suffered a great loss when we lost them. Just to wonder what they might have done, if only, is a sad remembrance. The true greats will live on forever in their music, from generation to generation, and we are fortunate in that. Beautifully pondered dear Teddy, and eloquently expressed.

                    • Teddy.15

Thank you dearest Bella, I think when a musician does so do the fans ❤️ at least we have loads of their work to enjoy. Biggest of hugs 🤗
