Oh pray, that we may be emacipated!
For mother earth is impatient
Dancing to dark drums
Blind like a bat and stubborn as a mule
Resisting God, her creator
Drinking sweat and stinking fish
Wearing stones on wrinkled neck
Stuck in pursuit for power and evolution
Oh pray, that we may be emacipated!
For I hear dung bells ringing warnings.
Consciousness, weeping for resurrection
Eyes begging to see the lights
Mouth covered with cobwebs of chicanery, struggling for emancipation, hailing,
Bring back our rectitude!
