Cancel this, censor that,
pixelate all the fact,
to make a right old cover story,
where we see, half the glory,
leaving our senses underfed,
in relentless watershed,
the cool kids, don’t like the blood,
they don’t like to play in mud,
to catch all colds, made to test,
they play chicken, in the nest,
so tepid, has become the reign,
when history, isn’t read the same,
a need to clear all this mist,
comes from disappointed lips,
those who’ve lived, and done the deeds,
fight those asterisks that impede,
by they who have “yet to sin”,
the poster child, who owns the bin,
but in a war, that can reclaim,
the understanding of mortal blame,
with justified bouts, between the ages,
we can recover heritage pages,
perhaps, in order, to salvage loss,
we could kill, a YouTube boss.

- Comment from author about the poem: Cancel culture, relentless censorship and the sowing of lies presented as truth. How and why the hell, did we get here!? A lack of retention of the facts, and the absorption of what is popular, has become a cancer. Even governments are reprehensible, when it comes to ethics, and thus, sometimes it has become a duty to break the law, to save certain things. Now is the time to really re-evaluate, what is actually deemed part of the system we create, and to have a long overdue "spring clean", to get rid of impurities, that have lived for far too long! Here is a disgruntled poem aptly named "Please Don't Skip This Ad", that airs my frustrations of such a modern world! I hope that you enjoy the poem, it's getting woefully old this, but, when will it get any better? As always, please do stay everyone.

LOL 😂 this is wonderful, I was offered a book deal this week and it was most entertaining to say the least, I'm still in a bit of a grump but hey your words about how the world is always makes me chuckle 🤭 ❤️ thanks dear friend.
Thanks for the read Teddy.15, and as ever for your very kind words.
A book deal eh!? Surely that's a cause for celebration, not something to give you the grumps, but I suppose, I don't know the circumstances that came with it. Either or, congrats I guess?
You are most welcome for the chuckles, but within these satirical jokes, of course, lies an ardent need for things to change for the better.
Thanks again, and I hope that all is well.
The circumstances were I had to buy 200 copies lol so no no deal borak Obama doesn't have to put up with this shit. Lol 😆😂😂😂😂😂 thank you for believing in me though.
