the moment i saw you

the moment my mom called you 

i felt deja vu

but i knew why

it was because we had met before 

years ago

i only remembered your silhouette 

but not you 

i didn't even know your name 

until my mom called you

you looked at me for a brief second

and then we looked away 

and when I stepped into your house 

we were quite far away 

then i didn't see you for quite some time 

until we went out with our families 

and when you took me alone to that one place

those were the best 10 minutes of my life 

i hadn't even known you back then

i hadn't even liked you in this way back then 

but i still felt something really deep in me

like a little spark of something 

i was to know later 

that i would fall for you involuntarily and helplessly
