In the dark of night, where dreams turn sour,
A place of fear, where thoughts devour,
Sleep's gentle touch becomes a chain,
Nightmares and stillness, they bring the pain.
A dance of ghosts, a spooky show,
In quiet rooms, my spirit feels low,
A prison made from my own dismay,
Longing for morning, I've lost my way.
Stillness, like ice, holds tight my frame,
Limbs frozen, it feels just like a game,
Eyes wide open, but my heart is still,
In this eerie world, I've lost my will.
The night paints pictures, scary and stark,
A gallery of fears, a shadowy park,
Whispers of torment, haunting calls,
In shadowed corners, my spirit falls.
Ghosts from the past, they tease and jeer,
Their hushed words, a bitter sneer,
Memories etched in shades of gray,
In this lonely place, I'm led astray.
Every night, a battle I fight,
To break the chains, to find the light,
But darkness wraps me in its cold embrace,
Pulling me down to a ghostly space.
In dreams, I'm adrift, a ship on the sea,
Sailing through storms, wild and free,
Waves of terror, they rise and swell,
Searching for hope in this eerie spell.
I'll face the night with newfound might,
Embrace the darkness, and find my light,
For in the depths of this troubled mind,
A gleam of hope, I'm bound to find.
