Sometimes I feel so foolish
Sometimes I feel so dumb
Why do I always have to be
Emotionally undone
I open up my heart
Letting love come in
It leaves me in a wreck
And makes my world spin
To give of yourself freely
Not thinking of what may be
Not sure if it's reciprocated
And if you're in this all lonely
To love and not know
If you're in it by yourself
That if you give up on things
There's something worthy on the shelf
Sometimes it's best
To let go of things
There's just one problem
You'll always be wondering
