THE FALLEN

nephilim56 ( Norman Dickson)

The angel falls
In twirling flight
Beneath the moon
Upon stars sight.

Downward wounded
Deep pained eyes
Invisible stairways
Ancient scars.

From Heavens source
A burning glow
Banished knowledge
Words to flow.

Long lost kingdoms
Now a dream
In wondrous memory
The angel screams.

What a beautiful sight, Angels are one of my favourite themes. You certainly have a magic for rhyme ❤️
