Recurrent rhetoric...

kering.karim

We started with passion, pure with a pinch of meek
When i used to write my own songs, romantic but slick
When my lyrics were geniune with sheer relevance, say authentic
Now my lyricist is sprouting in trends with an attention to seek
A thousand songs away but all that matters is the streak
I had vowed to represent my old friends,my allure-their voice to speak
Now those promises seem obscured and bleak,
I left my father's house with a dream, a dream not be a tick
When my veins were cold, strong personality, firm as a teak
She said i changed once i hit a new peak
Now the money  came with enemies, it gives me the ick
Women flock me for the fame, don't care what i speak
I look back to old times when things were geniune, my new recurrent rhetoric
