A broken vow
inflicting pain
silence rage
that soul can’t explain
shattered heart
feelings unveiled
embracing fear
that still remains
a secret kept
to cause no harm
pandora box
a sudden blast
Disloyal flames
spent elsewhere
wounding scars
beyond repair
absent tears
raising concerns
feeling no feelings
worsen the pain
so sudden shock
words can’t express
demised trust
hard be to gain
heal will commence
chance to repair
forgotten love
that’s always there
would love prevail
time only tells
if true was ever
true be again
