Hell has come

ady123

I won’t forget the stillness of the day

The bright sun that shone that morn

How I held my breath , and fixed my gaze

With fellows beside me , faces drawn

—————————————————————

My thoughts of you , came from within

How I longed for those days back again

My rifle clutched , the grasp so tight

Have I the will to fight the fight

—————————————————————

For the steps I make could be the last

I shut my eyes , think of the past

Wait for the whistle

Hear the cry , time to live , or time to die

—————————————————————-

Over the top , here we go , to the unknown

Only god will know , so prey for me

Your only son , right here , right now

Hell has come .
