Kabbalah Song

Paul Siekor

In the beginning
Was begot the big bang
And holy sparks flew

Secrets hidden
In chaos’ midden
Known only to a few

Hail to the power of kabbalah
Hail to the church of la-la land
Getting high on the Sephirah
High weirdness in America

The sparks concealed
In vessels revealed
Channels of God’s force

Till they reached the earth
And silenced mirth
When Eve received the curse

Hail to the power of kabbalah
Hail to the church of la-la land
Getting high on the Sephirah
High weirdness in America

Aquarius
Is just for us
Because we know the truth

No one else
Can avoid the hells
And find eternal youth

Hail to the power of kabbalah
Hail to the church of la-la land
Getting high on the Sephirah
High weirdness in America

  • Comment from author about the poem: This is a satirical poem about New Age spirituality. I am a spiritual person and embrace many alternative ideas myself but sometimes people go too far and I like to keep a sense of humour.
