Evil Eye - Daisie-Lyn Fuller

Daisie-Lyn Fuller

Flames growl on my back every time you were behind me,

Glaring through my soul like I was a TV screen,

Waiting to see if I’d trip, or fall,

Visibly becoming frustrated when I’d stand tall.

Power comes in many forms,

Yet the evil you possess cannot be reformed.

Lies leaping from your lips like poison,

Hissing behind my back just to get a word in.

No one believes you, you know that right?

But you’ll continue spreading rumours until night.

Power comes in many forms,

I too have a power that cannot be ignored.

The evil beady eyes you have do not threaten me,

The forked tongue is aesthetically unappealing.

Your power is a pretence to your demise,

Evil like you comes in a variation of size.

So try me once more and you’ll see what I do,

Evil eyes like you belong in a tomb.
