To Climb Up The Ancient Tombs In Kimhae Daeseong-Dong

Kinsley Lee

The autumn rain, continued to pour the drops in windy this morning,
On the hill of the royal family, a lonely breeze blows on the brae.
Only the millennium tree, where ancient traces have faded away,
As if trying to convey, it scatters drops by waving boughs and greeting.

    tombs of life's now dismissed
    as worthless and archaic
    They at least had posterity
    in mind
    Now, we don't even consider
    children
    as worth investing-in, instead
left to do their thing, allowed
    to be corrupted
    by society's trappings, easily
    no school trips
    no subjects studying heritage
    just tick-tock's
    and prying vultures taking
    advantage
    watching it all, grass grows
    celebrating
    wind and rain and freedom
    like all its ancestors before
    satisfied
    by just being a continuation
    of an unbroken legacy

      Hi! L.B.
Thank you for your kind comments. The tombs was composed almost 2 thousands years before, where the old dynasty's capital was located. So many relics were discovered at the old tombs.
      Have a nice day! BR.
