Accepting A Higher Power

Shaunmatthewcpoetry

Some mouths go sour
When you talk about a higher power
There is no formula to teach
Just live by my experiences
Guess that God is my witness
Not throwing my tongue out like Kiss
Every night I do the dishes
Wash away the leftover food and shit
Spirit won't quit until I'm uppercutted
Materializing more pounds from a single quid?
Not falling for a cheap and tacky magical trick
