Those Eyes...

novaa

In a gown she was, of crimson red,
Hundreds of souls around her swayed.

Sight so blurry, neon lights flared;
Stopped and sighed, in a corner, she stayed.

Her eyes met with ones so dead,
Demeanor spilling a sense of dread.

Locked with hers, hard to be escaped ;
Slowly losing the games they played.

Lifeless yet with desire they gazed,
Searing into her core, they blazed.

Intense and firm, those eyes ensnared;
Her body on fire, to look away, they dared.

Approaching her, she wasn't prepared;
Took everything from her, nothing, he spared!

Feeling his breath, for more she craved;
A seed he sowed, the garden he paved.

    Intense and painful...a woman trapped in a man's world..

    • novaa

        A poem of insight, delivered in extraordinary verse. A man's world because they can make it so. Do they fear the true power of woman, I wonder?

        • novaa

          All this dominance, yet a woman falls for the enticements. Appreciate your time and thoughts. Thank you!
