Oh Israel

ForeverJesus7

Oh Israel,

how I love you.

When others try,

to push and shove you,

you are guided and protected,

by the God above you.

Oh Israel,

how I miss you:

your beautiful skies and mountains,

and your glistening rivers,

that flow like fountains.

From the Jordan River,

to the sea of Galilee,

to Jerusalem,

where my Savior,

died for me;

I love every inch,

of the Holy Land.

America is my home.

Still, with Israel I stand.

A Christian who has seen,

Christ's birthplace,

Oh Israel,

I long to see your face.

  • Comment from author about the poem: I wrote this piece because I have been to Israel before, and it holds a special place in my heart. Now I am saddened to say that I just read that Israel is at a full scale war. Pray that God gives Israel the courage to fight and the over-all victory over it's enemies. Persistence is key

Do you actually understand what is happening in Israel. You can't simply visit a place and condone what they've been doing to innocent civillians. Both sides have committed war crimes so let's not focus our love on just one.

You are a religious man yet you have chosen a side. Shame on you and your religion.

Do not confuse this comment like you did with Darkfragrance and thank me for liking, you can thank me for totally disliking.

have a wonderful day whilst you're beloved Israel sends a few more bombs to kill innocent civillians.

          regards

          M (anti-warcrimer)
