The Adventures of Saboss

Once upon a time,

in a plantation so green,

Lived a truck driver,

with a smile so warm.

Everyone loved him,

especially the kids,

They called him Saboss,

he was one of their faves.

His job was to transport,

from here to there,

Driving the truck,

with utmost care.

But his favorite days,

without a doubt,

Were when he took the children, all around.

Onthose youth days,

they'd all gather 'round,

Hopping on the truck,

with joy profound.

As they rode along,

they'd sing their song,

"Saboss, drive us safely,

all day long!"

The lyrics went like this,

a catchy tune,

"Saboss fire moto we di go,

ohhh Saboss fire moto,

we di go selele."

They sang it loud,

with hearts full of glee,

As Saboss drove them,

safe as can be.

In the Barombi language,

so dear "selele," Meant "safely".

With Saboss as their driver,

they felt secure,

Knowing he'd keep them safe, that's for sure.

So, the children would sing,

as they rode along,

With Saboss, their driver,

of so strong.

His smiles and gentleness,

touched their hearts,

Creating memories,

that would never depart.
