I feel my efforts

Are all in vain

I give you everything

But it just leaves me in pain

 

I expose my soul

But you give me nothing

I have to chip away

To get a little something

 

All I ask from you

Is a tiny opening

I'm not asking you

At the end of the day

I ask for your trust

If you can't give me that
