Last night I had a vision

@merci

Last night I had a vision in my dreams,

My dreams seemed sure real,

And my life changed drastically in a matter of seconds.

In my dreams my mum looked happy than ever,

she looked completely at peace,

while watching her kids dancing in a circle around her.

She had no worries on her face as she usually has them.

The only reason she looks worried every time,

Is because she is not sure whether her kids are eating or not,

Life hasn’t been that kind to her.

But in my dream, she looked happy.

I woke up feeling energetic and happy,

But after a few seconds realization hit me,

I am still in this almost crumbling down house,

Where every day, we thank the Lord for another day with a roof under our heads.

After realizing that it was only a dream,

I made a vow to myself,

To do anything in my power and change my family’s life,

I want them to be happy for once.

I vowed to finally make my family proud,

And give them a life they had wished for their whole life.

I want them to always have food on their tables,

And ofcourse a roof over their heads.

I want her to stop waking those early hours,

And walking through those dangerous stress,

Without caring for being hurt,

She ritually cares for our health only.

She fought hard to give us food,

She made sure that we study in good schools,

She clothed us while she wore only one cloth,

She forgot herself and fought for our wellbeing.

I vow again here that I will repay her,

I vow to work hard so that she can be happy for once,

That she can enjoy her final years on earth,

I want her to have everything good.

God this is my plan and I want your blessing,

Bless me with chances and opportunities,

Also bless my family with more life and health,

So that they can enjoy what you will help me to achieve.

  • Comment from author about the poem: I just had a dream, where my family looked happy even though these days life haven't been that kind to them. But I woke up and found myself in the usual house and everything was still the same. I cried for almost an hour, wondering what we have done to God to deserve such harsh punishment and without any answer, I decided to do whatever it takes and make them happy. May God bless me with opportunities and chances and guide me to where success is. I dedicated this poem to every mom who work hard for their kids to survive and I want them to know that we appreciate them

The greatest among then shall be your servant.
Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
The serpent was the most cunning of all the creatures the Lord God had made. X
