Trust Through Troubles

orchidee

Tune: Duke Street

('Fight the good fight')

Parts of Psalms 56 to 60

***********

In the Lord God I put my trust

I who am weak, mere human dust

I will not fear what man can do

Unto me, I trust the Lord true

He shall send from heaven, save me

A safe path before me will pave

Will save me from reproach and shame

Show mercy, truth, the Lord His name

The righteous shall see the vengeance

On the wicked, their recompence

And reward be to the righteous

The Lord judges fair unto us

Deliver me, O God, defend

Me with your mercies to the end

Save me from enemies who do

Rise against me and know not you

To You, Lord my strength, will I sing

And fresh praises and worship bring

For you my defence, my mercy

Your help in troubles do I see

Give us your help from troubles, for

Vain it is to trust man for sure

Through God we shall do valiantly

He shall tread down each enemy

Thanks Teddy. It has to be hope, I believe, otherwise evil will win.
