The night we met

emmalouise

The night sky was aglow with radiant vegas lights.

The pale crescent moon shone in a way that seemed unearthly,

We looked up at the blanket of stars that stretched to infinity.

The occasional glance to bring us back to reality.

I close my eyes, I’m there with you.

Time stood still, oblivious to our surroundings

A calm love filled inside me, yet hearts were racing

Parted lips turns into part hearts

The space between us is merely an illusion

We cannot be apart if you have my heart

I feel you in the air, my skin shivers without warning

Distance cannot be true when our souls are already woven together forever.

Looks like a pretty intercontinental love affair… Nicely done!
