I wish that you’d be here with me
But sadly you’re never free
I wish that life would get easier as we go,
But sadly it doesn't, we must go with the flow,
Work hard, day in and day out,
I get so frustrated, I want to scream and shout,
I wish that life would get easier as we go,
But oh well, sometimes it blows,
I wish that we would someday wake up and be okay
I wish that life would somehow make sense
But I guess I wish is too much to ask...
I wish for moments where laughter fills the air,
For days without worries, without a single care.
But life is a journey, with twists and with turns,
Filled with lessons, from which we must learn.
And these lessons sometimes fill the air with grief
Everyday I tear up when I witness fading love
So I display fortitude to replace gratitude
I smile for it is a bridge to hope
A voice in my head says tomorrow will be better
And it would repeat till we depart
But again I close my eyes maybe a day will be better
A day enchanted by tulips and lilies.
And I still dare to make a wish coz wishes are possibilities
and life is nothing but full of probabilities.
