Pretending Laugh And Smile

Nidham Nehal

She used to get still , while pondering on the vague events.

But she somehow enjoyed and want to remain in the blues

She wants to travel a long distance without any destination to reach.

She wants a place where no one knows her, and nor she is known to anyone.

Her sudden silence is not understood by anyone, nor they comprehend her eyes

The darkness beneath her eyes is never questioned rather she always hide it by smile

There is a hurting heart behind her laugh and smile which she has confined to herself.

She is not in grief rather in a sadness that doesn’t go away

Yes! She has come to know the reality of world, Alas! What she thought never existed.

There is a void in her heart that nothing can fill that away

She remained open as a book, but they took everything from her, leaving her with pretending laugh n smile!
