Faster than a Speeding Headache

Summersounds68

Superman has a headache.
he was on a mercy flight
to save Lois Lane and Jimmy Olsen
from the clutches of a mad scientist.

On his way to the destination
he forgot his Polaroid sun glasses
which he purchased from Wally World
For only $1.99 and guaranteed to work.

Without his shades he hit the brick facade
of the building in which Lois and Jimmy
were held captive that threw him
upside-down-head-first into the sidewalk.

Lois and Jimmy finally escaped on their own
by spitting off their recycled duct tapes
and chewing through the ties that bound them,
once they were free they stormed out of the lab.

Both discovered poor superman in a vertical
position stuck on the sidewalk and in pain,
Jimmy and Lois did only what they could do
and that was to tickle Superman until he giggled.

The next day their mutual newspaper, The Daily Planet,
ran a headline: REPORTERS SAVE SUPERMAN BY
TICKLING HIM AWAKE FOR ALL TO SEE...
the crowd shouted, "Superman is a mighty boomerang."

Who enjoys watching the old Superman Series on TV? Please share with me.

Love the pic, what a fun read. I remember watching Superman when I was a kid. I haven't seen it in years, but it conjures up lots of wonderful childhood memories. It was a simpler time, and TV reflected a simpler way of life. I miss that a lot. Thank you for this stroll down memory lane, I loved it dear friend.
