Immortality

Destined Perspectives

Your words were poison.
Each word spelled death.
Until my brain stopped.
My eyes had closed.
Logic became illusion.
My heart stopped beating.
I thought I was alive.
I believed it was paradise.
Until my eyes were forced open.
I was rotting away in hell.
The poison so deep in my veins.
I was actually dead.
But I refused this fate.
You laughed as I walked
away vowing to restart
my heart again.
Now I am having
the last laugh.
You met your
match in me.
Little did you
know I am
immortal.
Rising from
the ashes my
birth right.
