The Figure 8

aDarkerMind

the figure 8.

white muscle for the teeth

free enterprise.

hindsight and breath alone,

now breeds as cockroach

harbour viewed. pretty as a rag.

the crank of man

white diesel in the confines of a burn,

shuts down mid-sentence

hanging on a vowel;

confetti forging anchor

paper-thin

home to hemarthrosis in the bucket of a Lark

sings praise to love through the granite of a spark;

molecules of thunder

where congregates all stains of orthodox,

as saints and hormones gather lumps of charcoal from a lung;

what picture this,

that marries carpets,

paints anthologies?

as green as kale

stone-deaf between the ears

like a portrait on a plastic plate of skank astrology.

Gemini my muzzle

Aries you. corn-fed for yellows scent.

this heaving meat of conquest

through the perfume of intent.

my love and I.

two Padron peppers

bright as honeydew;
