It’s like a never ending winter on poles
Everything everywhere appear to feel so cold
Feels like I’ll be stuck in this ice for my whole life
Buried with all the stories untold
Cold flames have begun to burn me inside
Burning to freeze my heart to stone
I sense no warmth, now I’m turning blue
Even my summer has started to snow
A fire of hope I used to rely on
When I needed the most is about to be doused
Instead of warmth now I just expect the burn
But I endure the burn instead of pulling my hands out
It’s black everywhere as a moonless midnight
I’m sensing the dark even in the broad daylight
A faint luminosity on a distant horizon
It is enough to keep my will alive
Some source of magic, a fuel to my desperate fire
Guide me back to the bright and hopeful day I desire…
