Too much to hide

_mkays_world

You ask me about my day,

And I reply with okay.

But why the face? You say.

And now i didn’t wanna stay

Shambled into pieces inside,

Knowing there is none to hide.

Oh why oh why, can’t I unlock all these obscurities?

Is it because it will reflect my insecurities?

The loneliness of this universe,

Lies upon my stupidness. Together, until it fades.

  • Comment from author about the poem: This poem means so much to me although fun fact i wrote i within 2-3 mins, because it evokes most of my emotions as a person who feels things pretty deeply and wants to be okay even though they know they aren't. Hope y'all enjoy this poem (whoever ends up reading this) and i hope it resonates to you in some way :-)
