Familiar Feeling

SHELLY

That feeling you feel

When you know what you know

Things are about to get real

Not sure if you're ready for the show

Things begin to change

And it's out of your control

Everything is rearranged

You know it in your soul

In order to survive

You simply accept things

Though you don't 't feel alive

Since your heart no longer sings

You take a deep breath

And walk through the door

It all feels like death

But you've been there before
